Plant-Based Living Has Changed Our Lives

Like many of us, we were brought up consuming a typical Western diet, high in animal proteins and grains, using the colour of fruit and vegetables to simply fill in the gaps.

At that time, we were on our exciting entrepreneurial lifestyle, where we as a couple spent years travelling around the world, coaching and empowering others to live the life of their dreams – helped distract us from what was going on internally as we “hustled” towards living out our passions.

However not all was as it seemed, and over time, something just felt “off”. 

We found ourselves exhausted and burnt out.

Our lifestyle at the time was amazing, but we had taken such a linear approach to health that we neglected looking after our internal terrain, and so we know deep down, something had to change.

After some ongoing health challenges, we went through a few medical tests only to be informed by a GP that we would not be able to have children as a result. This news was unexpected and devastating for us.

We saw this as a positive challenge to change what was no longer serving us and instead of allowing our challenges to become our reality, we began exploring natural remedies to optimise our wellbeing and reclaim our energy.

Together, we embarked on a self-care and holistic health journey that opened our eyes to the power of the human body and by exploring ancient wisdom and remaining curious around how to optimise their health, wellbeing, and energy.

A few years later, we were blessed with the gift of a child. 

This incredible journey had us casting aside everything we “believed we knew” about wellbeing and our curiosity and intuition lead us to exploring and consuming primarily a whole-food, plant-based lifestyle.
